( after leaving the library, Toji doesn't see the little girl or speak to her again but he sends her little snapshots of interesting things he encounters during his gallivanting. strange rock formations, clouds in a blue blue sky, odd looking things big and small. his favourite by far is a raven-like bird with black shiny eyes and a beautiful coat that's been following him through the swamps and dropping little pebbles and sticks on his head. there's never any text, just the images. )

[ Usually Alluka or Nanika reply with emojis, all happy and friendly and glad to receive the pictures. She saves them all in their own little folder, From Toji. The raven makes her curious. Nanika replies to one of those ones. ]

I tried to talk to it but it doesn't answer.
It just keeps dropping twigs and pebbles on me.
My hair isn't so bad that it'd be mistaken for a nest, is it?

[ Nanika giggles at the idea of Toji's hair being mistaken for a nest. It's so cute! ]

Maybe it's courting you. It thinks you're a bird.

I'm so glad you're back. I absolutely have time to talk. I always have time for a friend.

[ She's so curious as to what it's about Alluka can barely wait until the next day. She considers asking about meeting before class, but she already got up early recently. ]

[And he will indeed be lurking after classes, just outside of the academy. Sure he'd missed a few, but he'd more or less caught up, and that.. surely was the important part. Surely.

At least with the weather less miserably, bitingly cold he can go back to his preferred lighter, but still black and still leather jacket. With wings visible and ruffled up against what chill there is, it's pretty obvious immediately that all the white barring he'd sported til now is entirely missing - but it matches so nicely with his usual choice of clothes it's probably not an ominous sign.]

[ Alluka is so impatient for classes to end. She packs up and gets out of school like a bat out of hell, or how she imagines a bat leaving hell school would go, backpack and all. She skids to a stop when she sees Sephiroth looking rather like himself. Black leather jacket and Legend wings. The wings look a little different, but he went and cheated and got older again.

Alluka beams at him, waves, and makes her way over. ] Oh, you look healthy. That's good. You're okay?

Two years! Two whole years. A little longer actually. It's incredible. I didn't know to expect to stay here so long! How about you? It's been over a year right?

A year and a half, yes. I hope it's been overall kind to you here.

The whole time you've been here, have you ever seen someone change their given Role, beyond a Trial?

I've made a lot of friends and family, but a lot of them have left too. It's been good but hard.

[ She remembers becoming a Myth for a few hours after eating some taffy. Gojo put marshmallows on the top of her tall horns so she didn't hurt anyone. ] It's rare, but it happens. My brother Toge became a Myth after coming here as a Familiar.
